Need for Sanitary Materials

Sabdio Roba

I work with vulnerable pastrolist girls who are going through a lot of challenges in managing menstruation due to lack of sanitary materials including pads and panties. Most have never got access to these materials and they manage their periods in most stressful ways. Some put on several clothes and others sit on sand to drain the blood. They sleep on dried cow skin at night to hide their "shame." So far we have more than 2000 adolescent girls that need sanitary support and I am calling out to you for assistance, incase there is anything you can offer from ideas to donations and other resources. This link explains the need for support more; https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/sabdio-roba/posts/89063. Kindly help in making this girls enjoy a safe and wonderful menstruation days.

Hello dear,

How are you doing? Yes, this is a sad situation for a lot of girls. Have you tried doing a fundraiser on indiegogo.com, or can they learn how to make reusable pads, or get reusable pads?

Hello dear,
I have not yet initiated any fundraiser and yes reusable pads can be of great help. We are still working on how to come up with nice/long lasting reusable pads for girls.

Hello there:-)

There are a few WP sisters who could probably help you to learn how to make reusable pads. Have you tried Doreen Bieri, Sally or Olutosin?
