Sustainable Environment going Plastic Free

On Friday, 13th July, Raakhee Suryaprakash @10sunshinegal conducted a tweetchat on the role women play in creating a sustainable environment that is plastic free.

The chat began by first asking the audience whether they are taking steps to make their homes and lives #PlasticFree and what was the biggest hurdle they had faced so far. The audience shared examples of challenges they were facing in everyday life to go plastic free. Raakhee then asked each of them for their motivation behind reducing and limiting their plastic use. The audience was asked for the views on how women make a difference in adopting a plastic free and eco-friendly lifestyle and what they felt was the most effective step or steps that can check Plastic Pollution. The chat ended with participants sharing their experiences in going #PlasticFree.

Thanks for sharing another interesting tweetchat conversation with us. This sounds like a great topic. My husband and I were just having the discussion the other day as we were picking up trash in our village, what did people do before plastic. I don't even remember:-(

Honestly I hope one day the whole world will go plastic free. These plastics are a nuisance in our society nowadays puha. Especially in Africa there fly everywhere, causing flooding here and there.
