Introducing myself and my journal: Livelihood



About Me:
I am Sahibzada Immanuel Ahmad and many of friends and dear ones call me Sahibzada Aman, Me a Peshawar university graduate in International Relations and have done MS in development Studies.
Has been working in development sector since 1997, have worked with many lead agencies like GTZ, EPA, UNHCR and IRC and have carried out different projects in North West Frontier Province, FATA and Afghanistan. A local ethnic Pakhtoon, having better knowledge of the local customs, traditions and values.
Leading a local non-governmental organization (SSTD) working to provide better livelihood opportunities to all with out any discrimination on basis of gender, race and religion. Our aim is to provide innovative skills to the local community and empower them to play effective role in their economic decision making and to lessen the role of middle man through establishing direct links between the producer and the retailers/users. Our organization has trained more then 2800 beneficiaries in earthquake affected regions of Pakistan and keep a data of the passed out trainees and arrange re-freshers courses and other capacity building and awareness raising campaigns after project lapse in order to ensure maximum sustainability through improved employability in the target area of development intervention.
