SO I STAYED AT HOME

So I stayed at home wondering what I had done exactly to make you so mad, wishing you had kissed me goodnight or this morning before you left.
So I stayed at home cooking an elaborate meal hoping you would come home and enjoy it and then perhaps things would be right between us again.
So I stayed at home watching movies that would make me laugh, when you could have easily done that before you left.
So I stayed at home hoping you hoping when you get home tonight you would make love to me.
So I stayed at home praying that everything would be ok when one look from you would have been enough
So I stayed at home wondering once again if I am truly needed at work today, if my boss would think less of me.
So I stayed at home praying that it would please you.
So I stayed at home just like a billion countless women out there.

But then it hit me HAPPINESS is a CHOICE and I CHOOSE to be HAPPY with or without you.
