Help me change-- Women who learn.

Dear sisters,

Don't you ever sometimes feel so thankful for having this power of expressing yourself through words? Well I do. I certainly do. And I think you should too.

We have a voice, we have the ability to tell the world what we need to, of how we feel and think. We can rebel, we can talk for our share of rights and when given the oppurtunity, we are capable of leading too. Aren't we fortunate? Just even this platform, sharing our articles and the support we gain here makes us feel empowered, as if the world can be moved with the passion within us. But; not all the girls and women are lucky enough to be one of us. Not every woman on this planet dreams of changing the world. Not every girl can read or write. Not every girl dreams of chasing her goals. Now imagine yourself in her place, how unfair would it be?

About 65 million ofyoung girls in the world dream of going to school. 65 Million! What a disaster. Some of them are getting married while too young into something barely having the knowledge, some reside in camps dreaming of a normal life, some struggle with patriarchy, some deal with sexual abuse and its aftermaths. Some are victims of household abuse, some get pregnant at an early age and face severe problems. Most of them are simply unaware of what education and knowledge could do to her, her confidence and her life. Most of them do not have a voice. Most of them are waiting for their light, for their time to be right.

We as women, in this amazing community of writers, changemakers have the ability to help young girls and women around the world to give them that medium to be heard. Cant we all become the change we want to see in the world? Aren't we going to lift each other up? Isn't that what knowledgeable women like us do?

Lets do our part. Lets come together for good. I am starting an online project named "Women Who Learn", with the sole focus of creating a world of women who are educated, intellectual and confident; along with a blog and a Facebook page that hopefully will make a way for something great. A change for sure. I need your support, I need your love and I am sure you will join in. Help me by liking this page and also share it to make it globally reachable.

Your suggestions/advices are most welcome dear sisters. Please support the initiative.

Love and peace.

Dear Sambridhi.  I hope that the online "Women Who Learn" project will be able to reach more women not only in your country but around the world.  This is a good way for women empowerment and awareness to most girls and women out there who were deprived of their childhood.
