Try no matter what

Since our childhood, we were being told by our elders that Allah has better plans for all of us. When we used to be kid, we didn't give much thoughts to this, but yes with the passage of time we understand what it means. Moving to Bangladesh and being part of an International University was ofcourse, one of my biggest achievements and exposure to outside world. Asian University for Women, not only provides platforms for students to test their abilities and potentials but also challenges them to come out of their comfort zone. External Exchange Programs is one of them, where Asian University for Women select students for summer schools plus for one whole semester.Exchange students can go to universities in Korea, Japan, France and Italy.

Now, the story is when you reach to undergraduate level-2 , university send out announcements about various internships and exchange programs. I used to apply for all, but unfortunately I was never being selected for any of them. But on the other hand, you get to have an idea about the whole application process and especially how to write SOP( statement of purpose). So the thing is never stop trying, no matter what. The same I did. I wrote my personal statement spending two whole days for University of Trento, Italy, updated my Resume according to AUW format( which is very specific and time consuming) and sent out my application. I was not sure whether I will get this opportunity or not, but I was lucky enough to call myself as one of the exchange students. Once, you are being selected the story is not over. You have to go through numerous application process plus Visa process( In my case it took almost one month and I was unable to attend my orientation week, which I guess is very very important, if you are flying to a new place, where you don't know a single person). Anyhow it has been one week in Trento and the people here are very helpful.

The purpose to write this post is that please never ever stop trying, no matter you fail or succeed but you get to learn atleast something. Students of UG-2, who have heard back from CDIP about their exchange program at Trento for Spring semester, DM me a message because you have to know so many stuffs before your arrival:)
