At Last!

Dear Each and Every One,

The day has arrived, at last, when my previous Correspondent -- from 2011-12 -- and now beloved friend, "Hummingbird," a Kurdish Syrian, will come to my home for a brief and precious visit. When she arrives, she'll see her flag flying with the American flag . . .

. . . and any of you who ever come to my home will be accorded the same loving respect!

Lina, my dear current Correspondent, take note! (Philippines)

Leigh Anne, our devoted Editorial Mentor (Portland!)

Any of you who'd like a retreat among the dogs, armadillos and Sand Hill Cranes! (Your Country Here)

Hummingbird has just finished a two-week Women In Public Service conference in Pennsylvania, at the very same college from which my Mum and both my sisters graduated. She'll come to us in Florida before returning home, and experience the joys of having two large-ish dogs following her everywhere, including into bed.

More photos to come.

With Joy,

Sarah
