Amazing Connections from World Pulse Live 2011

My journey is being begun with the World Pulse Tour across the nations of Oregon, Colorado, California, New York and Washington D.C. The first excited thing for me is to be able to visit World Pulse Office at Portland. It was full of joy together with everyone there, my heart was full of happiness and warm with World Pulse team and my friends while I was at Portland.

The first Speaking at Portland State University and Mercy Corps Action Center – Aceh Room made me so curious, nervous, excited and happy at the same time since it was my first time to speak in public in English Language. It is a challenge while I am staying at another country which I have never spoken that language so much. I spoke my story with the nervousness to speak out what I wanted to speak; especially I needed time to think what I want to say in English with the audiences since the English I have used in Cambodia is not so helpful while I am speaking to audiences at the United States. It was very difficult for me to communicate to people because I can’t show them what I really want to say, I imagined that the way of connecting is not easy if our English is not good.

Once before I joined Worldpulse, I have learned how to write but now I have learned how to speak. It is really an impact that I have gotten through the Worldpulse Live. World Pulse is a place to give me warm to speak out what I want to speak and a new world for my life to build my confident and capacity building in writing the articles. Actually because of the difficult communication, the most audiences didn’t come to me but I understood about that. I have never been discouraged at all; I just told myself I NEED to Try more and more to use English properly. It is a way to recover my life from a silent lady so what I want to say, I should. It is really hard in my heart when I cannot speak much as I want to speak like my mother tongue language so most of time I am always quite.

Beatrice and Martha are amazing women whom I have ever met. I have learned from them how to process the projects, how to build confident, how to connect people and many more which really great impact are for my future. The strong two women whose stories and visions are so determined made the audiences full of tear falling down every time they speak. Absolutely, I was also crying to hear Beatrice and Martha’s struggling stories. I realized that each woman always has story to tell the world and now we are here to share our experience and vision.

Through the World Pulse Live, we have made connection to many amazing women here. They are happy to land their help for us to succeed our visions, also a few of them are traveling to Cambodia next few weeks and they wish to see the organizations I am doing projects with – I feel I am honored and connected by World Pulse.

We are now at Denver, Colorado preparing for the speaking engagement at University of Denver – The Cable Center Theater. Wow…It is must most over excited and nervous for this lady. Go Go...always! By the way, we also have many more speaking in private places with the World Pulse Supporters.
