I am a journalist, writer, filmmaker and a content creator. I'm passionate about storytelling because I believe stories have the power to change the world. I'm the co-founder of Re-tuning Cinema in Africa; an organization that creates content for brands and social causes through documentary film making, media coverage, making commercials and photography. One of the social causes closest to my heart is working with the youth in high schools and the community of Kibera to teach them the art of film making. We have established films club programs that nurture the next generation of African storytellers by building their capacity, providing an avenue to express themselves, put their budding creative juices to work and make short films about their communities and tell their own stories. I love telling human interest stories; about ordinary people doing extraordinary things. My goal is to use storytelling as a vehicle of change and aid in my journey of storytelling for advocacy.
To tell authentic stories about women and girls breaking barriers, stereotypes, winning & leading; create content of women in the media.
Mentorship, access to women with amazing stories to share, publication, partnerships & film support i.e equipment, voluntary or monetary.
I'm a storyteller, and a mentor for the youth. I can provide storytelling expertise like video production & photography and mentoring youth
