MY JOURNEY

Hello, I am Savita U. Prbhugaunkar from Goa ( Hindu community) My native place is Borim a village in Goa. My father was landlord as well as Mine manager. My mother was from Tamilnadu. Both were less educated but took much pain to educate their four children. My elder sister and I both are in teaching profession.

Journey of my life before my marriage was very nice. It was a joint family, where my uncle's family, maids caretakers lived together. Though my house was isolated on the top of the hill it is surrounded by natural beauty and peace. It had great impact on my life.

After marriage I came to busy city at Margao. I have seen other side of life .Now living with God blessed daughter and my husband in a very small flat.

Big challenge here we face is value of education is decreasing day by day among backward student and they like to make easy money as early as possible in life .We teacher community trying hard to educate them so that in future they could stand by their own and lead respectable life because self-respect is your true value of life.

Another problem in our community is of women. If she is not earning, she face financial problem. If she is earning, she has to share all responsibilities and manage all her duties. You should not fail anywhere while doing your duty. It is expected by everyone isn’t it?

One should know how to tackle every situation. Mould others to right path. Every child and women should know how to set their goals before they leap. I am using my education, time and energy to tell my friends, student not to get panic, but try to overcome your difficulty with patience and courage. I tell them that ‘Realisation, if it occurs at correct time, will be so good. Because realisation is not worth if it comes after we lose something………’
