Protecting the Nature with Healthy Options

Connecting Tribals
Connecting Tribals

It is really a privilege to see and experience the  rural India. It was in my mind to have such an opportunity and utilize it to its fullness.
Thanks giving  list for the  people who came forward to help me with all this work is a big one. Firstly, i take an opportunity to Thank you Sandeep Deore of N Foundation, who got connected with me  by Facebook. and we started working with new projects. He helped
reaching out to people in rural areas.

Gurhalpani, a small pada, Taluka Shirpur, Dist  Dhule, is still deprived from many comforts.
Very few little is known about these small Padas, which are situated in the Satpuda mountain range.

There are ten such  padas, connected nearby,  with a population of about fifty-one hundred houses.

Not a single electric pole or  wire is visible to you in this area.
Solar energy is the single source of energy over there.
If you want to get in touch with the rest of the world, you can only find a network of phones in one place of that area, which is seen quiet far from their house area.

Boys and Girls are seen studying there and trying to fulfill their dreams.
The children here are not far behind, One is  a Radiologist, one girl is studying in the second year of MBBS, one achieving a degree in  Pharmacy and other perusing diploma in it ...

I  just feel to keep writing about this unstoppably...

The hospitality was very sweet ... urad dal with corn roti, and along with sour milk (curd) ... the taste is still on the lips

I was a little curious about what options, the  women and girls here were using during menstruation. Answer from the girls was, plastic sanitary pads, the women said cotton clothes.
One organization donated 595 cloth pads kit. This kits, 3 cloth pads in one for each,   gave a different kind of joy to the girls and women there. Everyone welcomed it wholeheartedly, there was no shame or embarrassment in speaking on the subject. Even while taking the  cloth pads kits, there is no fuss, no confusion, just asking for as much as required.

The plastic storm has not reached there yet, and hope to not seen it  there  too in future at all.
I, myself is  feeling blessed, to  contribute a little for this community which leave in  clean and  energetic environment.

I  would  like to please make a appeal here. We are planning   to provide some books on general knowledge in English and Marathi to the children over here. We are planning to raise  some funds for that.
We would love to have a small contribution from you all for this and  help this new with good foundation of knowledge  in their future  journey.
