My name is Fanwi Seraphine Kakwi, I am an Evangelist, Inclusive Special Needs Educator, Researcher and the founder and CEO of MercySeed. I also am a community activist and an advocate for the rights of the girl.
Many young girls growing up in the rural communities still have sexual and reproductive health right issues as a hurdle to overcome. They grapple with menstrual health issues daily and many of them are still as ignorant as I was. We need to empower them to speak out and to break the culture of silence and taboos surrounding sex education and menstrual health in our communities and to cause a shift in behaviour and attitudes towards menstruation issues for adolescent girls.
My passion is to contribute in educating, empowering and involving the girls as community activist and defenders of their rights. I love it when I am at the heart of the hardest to reach communities putting smiles on the faces of the girls. I am fulfilled being constantly on the field to change lives.
A world where justice and compassion leads (rules) every heart and every single soul is free.
Sustainable partnership opportunities, capacity building and learning forums, gifts & donations (sanitary pads & funds) to support girls.
