My journey

I am Marie Rose SHAKALILI, Congolese of the DRC precisely of the chiefdom of Basile in territory of Mwenga, province of South Kivu. My community is of the traditional type, where the initiation rite is still in the spotlight for young boys, which reinforces patriarchy in the community. This implies, therefore, the problem of early marriage, violence based on gender and social injustice and poverty. Faced with a society largely constituted by illiterate women, the necessary measures are the sensitization and awareness of women in order to hold them accountable rationally to the sustainable development, integral of their environment, to try to change circumstances. To create a change in my rural community, I have to develop the spirit of solidarity group work so that women, young people and men can work together to take ownership of their actions. Favors of the community. My actions are oriented towards women working in mines and to the economic participation of women for the protection of the environment. As a resource we need the computer tools connected to the internet. Institutional support, capacity building in administrative, financial and human management of the facilitators so that we continue successfully. I would like the world to know that I am committed to Contribute to the well-being and improvement of the living conditions of women and young people in environmental and mining sectors in a post-conflict context and political instability.

My vision for change is that I dream of a society where women, young people and men become aware of their responsibility to create a just world. This responsibility must be shared, we need women's solidarity between women and youth, which is the future of tomorrow. And between women and men who are our unavoidable partners. The thinking solidarity between the women of Africa and those of the world for the sharing of the experience. All this must be built on moral values that are respect, common sense and love. Together we must develop the spirit of trust and understand that all of us have the power to bring our stone to the building of a better world each with its weaknesses but also with its strengths and good intentions. Our thinking must always be oriented towards future generations, education is therefore a field not inevitable for all social action, economic; Cultural development; Environmental and political issues. Emphasis should be placed on educating the girl, the educator of tomorrow; Tomorrow's mother. Empowering women is also a factor in positive change. When the woman comes to the level where she can also decide her fate as an actress and not a viewer, our society can breathe peace in the feminine, justice and work well done. Change must be lived in a stable environment, it will protect our forest, our rivers, our motherland nourishment

The internet can support my vision of change when I rationally use links and sites that can help me get in touch with funders eager to support my vision. With whom we share the same objectives. And the same moral value. I can also learn from visions of other women around the world, how they respond to certain constraints that present themselves and resemble our own. From the way they worked until they became eligible for international funding. With the internet I can also share with my community, and the whole world of what we do as work, I can exchange our, cultural values, and ancestral. We are in the 21st century, the world has become digital; There is modernization; we also have rights to the use of digital tools to be on the page as a woman who is entitled to knowledge about new communication technology. Let us not say that knowledge is an opening to the world. We can no longer work in a closed vessel. Is change still contact with the outside world? Know what can be taken as a model and what can be avoided. For this training I hope to strengthen my ability on the rational use of digital and share my experience with the feminine world. The training will give me the opportunity to master the methods and techniques of social, economic and cultural change that can be brought into the community.
