I went for a walk in the late afternoon today. The cold hands of the evening were embracing me. It felt really good to get some fresh air after ages. Birds were singing melodies and the daffodils were dancing to the tune of the breeze. Met two dog walkers and a jogging lady. Everyone kept their social distance. In the footpath, the stream was flowing serenely. The town and the roads were filled with an eerie silence. It felt like I am listening to a sad song. It is Monday, and after-office hours, I reminded myself.
