Aboriginal Children have Rights under International Indigenous Human Rights
Aboriginal children are removed at an alarming rate from their cultural homes, communities, and everyone is ignoring it! Please care, support, donate! https://www.gofundme.com/our-children-our-future-our-laws
The church was taking our children...
The church was taking our children...: Many native children were adopted out by the Roman Catholic Church; many of our children that grew up in adopted homes came home! They say only Native Children that were adopted out, tried to find their ancestry roots, and tried to fit back into their cultural nations. The transitions were very difficult for most of the children. Many native children were adopted out all over the world!!!! We seek Repatriation for those children, to come back home! Whose to blame, and how does one compensate? We seek Reconciliation for the many Native & Metis, and Inuit children stolen from Canada and became adopted out all over North America and the world! (1/1)

We launch "Don't take our children" campaign. Please care, donate! We will be doing 4 public rounds, guest speakers, with a justice questionnaire to go out to adult survivors of foster care, adopted native children who grew up without their culture and lost their identity and family roots, and women whom lost their children to child & family services. We seek policy changes for child welfare under Reconciliation and strong agreements in place for many generations of stolen children under the Government of Canada! Please help! Colonial and Adversarial family laws and child welfare policies must come to and end at this time of Reconciliation without oppression toward Aboriginal Families! Native children have rights under International Indigenous Children's Human Rights. They have the right to be loved and cared for by their mothers, communities and nation. We seek support for Policy Change and New Agreements with Canada for Aboriginal Family Laws and the Child Welfare Act. Culture Matters, Identity Matters, Aboriginal Families Matter! Today Aboriginal Children are viewed as lesser than by family laws, society, social welfare rules and policy, unless they are raised with Non-Native families! Native mothers have no rights under current Family Laws. We seek worldwide support. Love & Light

Dear Sharon,

Yes, the Canadian Government has promised to stop taking Indigenous children into white foster families, and they continue to break their promises. Even with the strong voices of those who were part of what we now know as the "60's Scoop" (Indigenous children being separated from homes, families, even siblings in the 1960's), the Canadian Government continues to do this rather than address poverty that this colonial government created. It is good to see your post here. The world community needs to know that "nice Canada" is not so nice when it ignores what it has done and continues to do to Indigenous people here.

In sisterhood,
Tam

Once native children are in foster care, its almost impossible for mothers to get their children back. One mother from Cowichan took the parenting program, alcohol program, and victim of violence program 9 times; 9 years later her children aged out of foster care and finally went back to her home. She didn't give up, and her daughter had problems and wouldn't let her mom leave her sight. Its hopeless. I know the problems of taking children and the suffering mothers go through - especially in the native community. I am also seeking volunteers for four culturally appropriate rounds. The Liberals promised to end over-representation of our children and move into reconciliation - problem is, our children make too much money for off-reserve peoples. Native children are an economy and industry for Provincial Foster Care parents; our children pay for a 2nd care, pay for their children's tuition for university, pay for the mortgage on their homes. Its like assimilation, serious abuses, and child theft. I need help; the government is pushing me into poverty too, knowing that I get up and speak out against the serious discrimination against native women:

Native Women suffered under the longest and most violent act of cultural genocide; the Indian Act; let us speak the truth, so the world becomes educated and aware of the most notorious acts of genocide through health care, foster care programs, family laws, church programs, and policy! Your donations count! Forced silence is violence! https://www.gofundme.com/IndigenousWomensResearch
