Hi Sharon,

How are you doing? How is your fundraiser coming along? I care:-(

Let us know if there are any milestones reached or rays of light?!

Its been a long campaign. Its definitely spread to small corners the world, and other countries have their own social-economic issues, along with Canada. The societal issues of racism and sexism in Canada is prevalent with many barriers, along with structural or policy making barriers. It is the norm. to experience racism from the larger society when it concerns native women and rape; native women don't trust going to the police for help. When they do, its usually a very bad experience. Men that rape don't usually get sentenced accordingly, and usually go back to their community when they get out! Causing a whole different kind of intimidation. The victim usually leaves her community after it happens. Its not good, there are no milestones and we see acknowledgement just not enough to create change.

Oh:( Yeah, I wouldn't trust going to the police either, unfortunately:-(

No milestones, or movement forward?! Eeek. That's not good. I'm sorry to hear that, dear...

https://www.wakingtimes.com/2019/04/23/the-essence-of-evil-sex-with-chil... I wrote an article long ago on Aboriginal Child Prostitution in Saskatoon, Sk. for a Native Paper. It was one of the most horrific stories - so many native children are vulnerable to sexually depraved men, because of Poverty.
