It's a Girl Thing

Hello my worldpulse readers. It just gets bigger. I have received quite a lot of funding to buy materials for making my FEMpads and donations for postage too. And this evening I have received a professional offer to make a webpage for this little project.

But back to basics - I have received a request from South Sudan for make some washable pads for my sisters there. They miss around 4 days schooling each month because of a lack of feminine hygiene products. We take far too much for granted.

I have also been asked to make 24 sets of 3 FEMpads for SkyKids in Uganda. What an honour. Why FEMpads I hear you say:....For Every Month pads.

I was talking to a man about this project because he said he didn't like my charity idea. I asked him how he would feel if for about a week a month he had to wear animal skin or something else which makes you sore and uncomfortable. His reply :- It's a Girl Thing. What a brilliant name, so my charity is now named:- It's a Girl Thing.

I thank you all for encouraging me, for your kind words and requests - I am amazed and delighted.

So Worldpulse thank you and thank you SISTERS everywhere.
