About Me

Sherna Alexander Benjamin is a human and women's rights activist who believes in the power of The Sisterhood to usher in a world where women are liberated, educated, empowered and challenge the norms which seek to keep them imprisoned. She is a visionary who is at times misunderstood by some and praised by others. She believes if one desires to reach a higher echelon in life one must release all negativity, free oneself from unforgiveness and bitterness and to never say never.

Cowardice asks the question: is it safe? Expediency asks the question: is it politic? Vanity asks the question: is it popular? But conscience asks the question: is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular- but one must take it simply because it is right. - Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968)
