End of a year, End of nearly 2000 Women...

Crime statistics for this year till August, released by the Kerala(In India) Police on Monday, show that 1,181 rape cases were registered in the State. As many as 394 of the victims were minors. A total of 9,347 crimes against women and 1,155 crimes against children were registered during the period. Last year, 455 minors and 1,019 women were raped as per the statistics.
As many as 482 rape cases had been registered in Kerala in the first three months of this year, as per the crime statistics released by the State police earlier this week. Of these,159 victims were minors.
Where are we going ? To a World where Girls and women are going to be banished ? These are only reported cases, there will be more who are afraid of the society, afraid of the police, afraid of everything...
The latest estimates suggest that a new case of rape is reported every 22 minutes in India.
