I was so surprised when I read your posted. I often don't hear the news that are rape incidents in Japan, so I've ever thought I am not concerned with them. However, as I knew the incidents, I have a mind I have to think about girls' feeling who were raped.

Thank you for sharing your journal.

The above information shows only cases upto 2013. Even the last year also have many cases of rape. I really am ashamed of my country and also afraid to live here. Some girls live after the incident some commit suicide. It had become as a routine. Hoping this will end one day.

Darling Shilpa, Why would the inhumanity of others in your country bring you shame? You are spreading blessings upon our shared earth with your being and writing. Please take the time to celebrate what you are doing to continue increasing the blessings you bring with your sacred spirit.

I spent many years being ashamed of being part of an abusive family and religion. I decided to use that same energy that was causing me shame to celebrate the sacred energy that helps me to move forward from what briought me shame.

I stopped fearing others when i realized that others may harm my body, but they can't make me ashamed unless I hand that power to them. Holding hands with other powerful women, through World Pulse, helps me to stay strong. Two of our WP sisters you may want to meet are Olutosin in Nigeria and Ch Urmila in India.

I am now free to be a blessing to others with my being, as I know you will continue making yourself.

Love, Yvette

Yes,may be you are right. I should not be ashamed. But the day today news of small girls and women being raped make me a helpless feeling. I don't have the power to stay against this. In some way am alone.

May be as you said i will hand the power to them. I will make those culprits ashame themselves for their cruelty. I will try my best.

Love

Shilpa.
