My first story

Hello everyone!

I recently joined the world pulse family. I am happy to be connected to all of you inspiring human beings from all over the world. Today, I would like to share with everyone from the beginning of my journey. I am 24 years old. Ever since childhood, I have had a special interest in painting and drawing. My only favorite class was art class when I was in school. After school, when I entered high secondary school, my focus was on getting good marks in other subjects and I lacked time to devote myself to the creative side of me. As time passed by, I started to get involved in temporary jobs. I took the passion of art through coffee making. I have further developed my skills by taking advance barista training and now I am working as a senior barista in a reputed restaurant in the capital city, Kathmandu. I was doing my job with great pleasure but after this COVID-19 pandemic came, my journey is now being halted. But happily, staying home, I still had the opportunity to devote more time to excel in my art skills. I started to study more about art on the internet. I learned lot about the Mandala drawing and I also participated in a one-day Mandala workshop at “Perfectcircle”. Mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. “Mandala” is simply a Sanskrit word that means “Circle”. For me, my Mandala design is inspiring and therapeutic. When I start drawing a Mandala, I look inside myself and sketch the shapes and patterns that represent my states of mind in my depths and fill them with the same colorful colors – drawing wishes for me and for my loved ones.
