Promoting Proper Waste Management and Organic Gardening

I am hosting an IWD event for the first time as a World Pulse Digital Ambassador in Bamenda, Cameroon. I have been spreading the word and sending invitations for women and young girls to attend this event. I will be teaching them about World Pulse and helping them to connect. I also have a waste management package to deliver on this day and seedlings of spices for them to grow in their backyards organically. I believe that women can take the lead in environmental care through proper waste management and the use of organic fertilizers. Our event comes up in two days.

This story was submitted in response to World Pulse Digital Ambassadors.

Hello sister Dawn. Yes, I am already preparing. Downloading and preparing fliers and materials from Ambassadors'file which you provided. I want to thank you for it. I just returned from a garden where seedlings of vegetables i intend to purchase and distribute to my participants are nursed. Then i am getting ready the bio trash cans geared towards a clean and better environment. I want as many people as possible to practice planting portable organic gardensg. This is thanks to you that this is happening!!!!

Dear Sinyuy,
What a great idea to plan an event and teach others. I wish I were in Bamenda, I would attend your event. Here we organize a get together and teach people how to make seed ball(bomb). The simplest way to forestation.

Tell us how it goes.
Lily

Thanks sister Karen. The event was marvelous and now the gardens are doing great. I am already eating vegies from my own garden.

Wow! I envy you, dear. I hope we have a lot here where we could plant our own garden. That is a healthy way to live-- eating your own produce. How blessed you are, dear. ;)
