World Pulse has given me a flare of both personal and societal impact. Personally World pulse has given a space whereby I can do the things that I want to do with full confidence. It has connected me to a beautifully woven network of sisterhood. It has ignited me the spirit of watching the society with a critical eye and looking for ways through which I can impact lives positively. I have more and more self-confidence as I coach and get coached by sisters from around the world.
I have impacted the lives of many families in my community thanks to the event I planned and executed on the International Day of the Woman. Many women joined World Pulse via this event and I also distributed trash cans to the participants after training them on environmental care and proper waste management. I also encouraged them to create portable organic gardens in their backyards and provided them seedlings of some basic vegetables:, cabbage, shallots, celery, basil. The women were very happy with this initiative and are happy with their gardens.
Come to think of the present lockdown all over the world due to COVID-19 pandemic and the hardships that families especially women now have in accessing basic groceries for their families, I will say that this my project was prophetic as the greens will soon start serving families. We do not know how long this pandemic will last, but these gardens will eventually save a life. Above is a picture of my own portable garden and you can see how far the plants have grown. I hope to get more funds in order to carry out more of such projects in my community.

Hu Love, it really does fit in this context. I feel so secured harvesting vegies from my organic garden. That limits my going out.
