Dear people of good will. I am writing this post to present a need for the vulnerable people who have been squeezed into one urban area of the North West Region in Cameroon. For close to four years now, many families have fled their villages and are taking shelter in Bamenda town which is the capital of the North West Region of Cameroon, part of the country which is plagued by the Anglophone crisis. The number of IDPs have increased making food a rare thing in the host community and households that host these IDPs. Also, food stuffs were mostly farmed and sold to the urban areas by these very displaced villagers which implies that there displacements has also caused both the shortage of food and caused prices to skyrocket. In order to help reduce the lack of food, we therefore require funding so as to help these households to set up portable gardens in the little spaces which they can find in their host communities. Nothing is ever small when it comes to helping someone.
