Always willing to do everything

By nature, I rarely refuse to do anything. That's was why I did Political science and public administration and a minor in sociology not  by my likeness .

Dear Sirri,
I challenge you sister to as we say..."do you". Which means, do what you love to make you a joyful, radiant woman, whatever that is. If it is poly sci, or pub admin, a bit of sociology (which will come in handy), do you! And I will dare to say...refuse sometimes. It's good exercise to refuse things. Not everything coming your way is necessary or for the best. Even if it is good by nature and by intention. Don't just habitually accept. It should always benefit you, and fit into your master plan for Sirri, if you have a choice. Bravo for your energy. Welcome to World Pulse. Keep posting and sharing your stories. I look forward to hearing them.
Hugs...JoMarie

Dear Sirri,
Welcome to World Pulse. I was a little confused by your post. Did you study the above subjects because it is what was offered? Would you have liked to study something else?
I think since study takes a long time, and a considerable investment as well, it helps to study what we like and see ourselves using in the future to impact our world and makes us feel sufficient and significant in our tasks.

You would have acquired valuable information about society from your studies, and hopefully you will find platforms to use these in your community.

I agree with JoMarie that it is good to learn not say no. Saying no means that we can focus time, skill and resources in what is really important and beneficial. It means that we are not afraid to stand up for our values and principles even when we face opposition. Saying no to one thing gives us freedom to say yes to another, because we are human beings, and therefore limited. This could be in relationships, jobs, our own desires, empty promises, opportunities for others to take advantage of us....I see saying no as an integral part of saying yes. So that to say yes to one thing means that we have said no to another directly or by default.

But it really is a good thing to be willing to try a lot of things, because it means that one has more options. So as you continue to examine your options, I hope that you build both the courage and the wisdom to say YES, and NO, whenever it is appropriate.

We look forward to learning more about you in your future stories.
Welcome again and stay sparkly, always :-)
In sisterhood,
Nini
