I am a Nigerian woman who learned to dream at an early age. I was not yet ten years old when I heard the story of Oliver Twist and decided that I would do what I could to make sure that no child ever goes hungry.
The dream has evolved through the years, growing and taking form as I have become increasingly aware of the myriad issues that plague our world. Most recently, I have become concerned about the hopelessness I read in the eyes of young people in Nigeria and many developing countries around the world. I have decided to join hands with others to encourage the upcoming generation to fight for their future--not with fists or violence, but with skill and intellect and will.
I am a beneficiary of the sacrifices of many who came before me, and so I give myself for others.
