Surrogacy ,What is the Role of Mother post Delivery.

Science has developed so much that we are getting benefits in every aspect of life. It has under gone many changes.Lets talk of IVF it helped many childless couple to have their own biological offspring. Another new development that took place that, introduction of SURROGACY. A method where a women allows to bear the child of another couple . In layman language a women womb is on hire. Some cases which raises a serious concern in my mind that affluent celebrities are adopting this technique just for their whims. Some male Indian celebrities had their babies without marriage through surrogacy, another celebrity couple, parent of 2 children opted for 3rd child through surrogacy. This trend demeans the status of womanhood. Another problem what is the legal position of that mother once she hands over the the child to the hirerof uterus . Some years back a grand mother gave birth to her grand son (daughter's son ) through surrogacy. I am confused howthe biological mother son will handle the situation in future.

Actually this method should be available to those couple who have absolutely no chance to conceive. Legality of the status of biological mother and child should be defined properly.
