Empower women to access agricultural land rights with me

What I'm Leading

I am impacting women farmers of Pune district, Maharashtra by lobbying district  government officials such as the collector and the block revenue officer (Tahsildar) to carry out a drive to reinforce agricultural land title registration in women’s names, By 2020, all women farmers in Purandar block of Pune district shall avail of agricultural schemes jointly with their husbands.

About Me

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with over 14 years of progressive experience in the development sector at grass root and middle-level management in much diversified socio-economic and cultural setting in India. An exceptional leader, who believes in sharing learning’s and action and is able to develop and motivate others to achieve targets, A practical individual with a logical approach to challenges.

My educational qualifications include a Master of Philosophy with a specialization in women and child development and social Justice and development and Master in Social Work.
My professional experience includes 14 years working on women’s health, primary health care and health rights issues as a health activist and advocacy campaigner in western Madhya Pradesh and rural Maharashtra.
My current association with MASUM, a rural women’s organization, based in Pune, has provided me with an abundance of experience and skills to draw upon.

I dream for a just and equal society with abundant opportunities for girls and women to grow in every sphere of life.
