My Graduation Picture : 2015 (1/3)

My precious dog Ellie. She was truly like a daughter to me. She had Congestive Heart Failure and she entered the final stage yesterday at midnight. I did a last dance with her to Justin Bieber’s “Favorite Girl”(I loved dancing with her) .I said my last goodbyes a she was attached to an oxygen tube. I watched her as she took her last breath. The doctor had her facing me and said “There’s your Mommy”. Although it was super hard I know I made the best decision to end her suffering . She was there for me and I was going to be there for her... to the end.  Please enjoy this tribute poem I did for her and please watch the video I made showcasing the last birthday we got to celebrate together last month. I praise God that she gave me as a gift ! I give her back to him now . Please keep me in your thoughts/ prayers.. etc.

thank you,

stacie

Hello dear Stacie,
I am very sorry that your Ellie passed away. I don't know what it's like to grieve a beloved pet, but I hope that the memories you have of her carry you through the emptiness created by her absence as you craft a new world.
Sending love and hugs :)

This is so heartbreaking, dear Stacie. How are you coping? You must miss her so much after being together for 10 years. You are a great mommy to hear. I couldn't imagine your pain as she took her last breath. Hugs to you, dear.

What a lovely tribute you've written. Thank you for sharing this with us.
