In Times of Darkness, Where's the Light?

Looking at events as they appear, often lead us to believe in the Darkness (negativity of the event) without a hint of a bigger, brighter picture - Light.

So where is the Light in times of Darkness? The first shimmering of Light, is hiding in every little tiny aspect turned toward the positive - turned toward a Smile. In other words, instead of letting our thoughts focus on the tragedy and drama of the event, we can begin to thinkthoughts that brings a touch of RELIEF. The Light shines in the feeling of Relief. Then viable options happen.

Note: Every belief has two sides, the Not Having of it (Darkness and despair) and the Having of it (the hope and expectancy of Light). (A belief is only a thought we think over and over and over until we believe it. Thus, a Belief.)

Examples:

1.. "My child died in war. I can't breathe." - Darkness (No Options)

"He is now happy and whole in Heaven. I can feel better by celebrating himin his new place of well-being. Knowing he is safe, I can get on with my day." - A little Smile of Relief

2. "I haven't enough money to feed my family. We will all starve to death." - Darkness (No Options)

'I live in an abundant universe.' I FEEL this, I KNOW this. Suddenly, people bring me food. The Red Cross or other NGO's arrive with an abundance of food and supplies in this dark time. I learn how to create a beautiful and healthy garden on my small piece of land - Hope, Positive Action, Options, Relief.

What you focus on expands - it's a powerful Law of the Universe (Physics). Focus on depression and hopelessness of perceived Darkness and you get more of that. Focus on feeling good and hopefulness and you get more of what you want and desire - Light. In the Light, the better it gets, the better it gets.

It's simple really: think and feel your way into the Light or think and feel your way into the Darkness. It's all up to you. You get to choose.
