I am a woman wearing two hats with equal pride: first, that of a multimedia journalist telling the stories of marginalized people in Asia to the world and second, training women and men globally in telling their own stories.
I also am a child with two families: First, in India - a country I was born in and live and Second -World Pulse -where I was reborn in the fall of 2011. It was the day I joined World Pulse and found a love I have never known earlier - the love that constantly inspires and ignites my passion for changing the world for better.
I have a dual post graduate degree, a decade's experience of working in several media outlets, a passport with stamps of over 20 countries across the world, badges of speaking in dozens of global forums and over a dozen prestigious global awards for my journalism.
But my greatest pride lies in my World Pulse family whose vision and values I carry in my heart every single day.
A world where the concept of 3 worlds do not exist and where women are not treated as inferior to men
