Jacintha Jayachandran is an author, a social worker, entrepreneur and coach. her mission is to impact the life of children, youth and women. Through her organization Hopeworks foundation http://hopeskipjump.org/, she is impacting 590 girls from 8th to 12th grade.the girls represent social and economic marginalization and they study in a government aided school. The mission of the foundation is to build hope amongst the girls by focusing on training on hope curriculum, mentoring of all girls with no exceptions, role model interactions to enhance confidence and wider world awareness with programs on self appreciation, self reliance , resilience, future focus and career consciousness.

The girls undergo interventions and interactions, designed to instill hope in themselves and their ability to define and pursue a future of their choice and making. The foundation which began work in 2019 now plans to impact more schools in the next 3 years and 1000 + children in next 2 years.

She has also been a volunteer at an NGO called PudumaiPenn http://www.pudumaipenn.org/which impacts the lives of young girls and supports their higher education programs and needs.

In her entrepreneurial journey she has co-founded a leadership development and training organization and an organization exclusively to enhance the work life of working women.

She has trained over 50,000+ professionals and has constantly endeavored to work with the marginalized children and women. She has a post graduate degree in social work and has worked 15 years in corporates and has been an entrepreneur for 10 + years. She has consciously decided to devote her time to work with children especially girls through her foundation and her individual efforts as a human being.

Given below is the anthem she created for the children as part of the HopeWorks mission.

I dream , I hope ,

I know I will,

One day reach the sky,

Paint the rainbow,

Touch the cloud,

Meet the star,

Befriend the moon,

For

I know I am good

I can dream and I can hope,

I have it in me to grow,

I have faith and I have power ,

I have the courage and confidence

I have it in me to grow,

I will never give up

I will fall and I will rise

I will fail and I will succeed,

I have it in me to grow

I will lead

I will pursue

I will persevere till

One day I reach the sky!!
