This village is coming under purview of Sureswarinala – I MWS  ( Micro Watershed Scheme) in IWMP( Integrated Watershed Management Progarmme)  – II. In 2010-11 we adopted this village and initiate the project work initially the women folk in the form of SHG showed their interest to for tailoring training. With their keen interest we organized frequent meetings and had participatory decision making to chalk out tailoring training planning. We ensure their participation and contribution along with our small inputs and initiated the tailoring training. Initially it was decided to select 15 women members from different SHG and individual of this village for this training. Three numbers of  nos. of tailoring machines were provided to them and allied accessories along with a instructor for tailoring training were also arranged.

It is a  great happiness to know that during this short programme 3 ladies as Chumuki Sahoo, Dalimba Pradhan and Tapaswini pradhan had Personally purchase their sewing machine and started stitching ladies garments like blouse, Chudidar, Frock, Pettycut etc. and earning 100 to 150 Rupees( 1.40USD)  per day which is generated tremendous impact on their own income. Although the training has not yet completed but the continuity and sincerity of the women trainees still encouraging and stimulating their potentiality. This endeavor is a great success and it needs similar support for replication.
