Dear Worldpulse Members,

This is Sunita from Nepal.

At least 3,218 people are now known to have died in a massive earthquake which hit Nepal on Saturday 25th April 2015. Hundreds of people are still missing. Rescue missions and aid have started arriving to help cope with the aftermath of the earthquake, the worst to hit Nepal for more than 80 years. We are trying to make an effort to help with whatever we can. Your small contribution can be a great addition to our cause. The collected sum will be utilized to help the victims of this disaster.

The aftermath of disaster has left many people homeless, levering buildings, demolishing road and means of transport. They need food, sanitation, medical supplies and shelters.

Dear Sister Sunita,

I am happy that you are safe, and I grieve for your loss. Thank you for bringing our attention to ways we World Pulse sisters can donate to rescue and rebuilding your community.

I am wondering why you have two links to receive donations. Would it not be easier and faster to donate directly to Givealittle-Cause, Spark Foundation?

Upon receipt of your answer, I will happily share the need with my network.

Thank you for being a blessing upon our shared earth.

Dear Yvette,

Thank you. Earthquake Relief Fund for Nepal is my individual fundraising effort which I aim to share within my networks and frieds at my university. I just thought that it will be easier and trustworthy if you know the person who is doing fundraising. By the end of next month, we will combine the fund together and send it to Nepal.

Let me know if I answered your questions.

Thanks

Sunita

My question has to do with tax status. If you register as afundraiser with the Spark Foundation's Give a Little, all donations come through you directly to them with their registered non-profit tax status.
