let's consider joining our fellow-WPers' facebook NGO, etc. groups

if interested, many applicants & other WP community members have causes & orgs that are worthy & that NEED our support. We can "like" their groups' facebook pages. Which will give them more internet social networking & exposure. We are all over the planet - we can help them extend their voice & work, in this way, so others in our fb networks may learn about them.

When I did that for the civil-society org. FRD, which came from a Resource request by one of our Pakistani applicants, I also wrote on the FRD page that I had been introduced to FRD by (I gave last name & country, not the city, in case there are security issues) ... & then I mentioned on that FRD page about WP , gave a very brief description of the WP mission, and asked anyone interested to chk out WP's network.

That's a full circle, & you never know who might become a big WP supporter or community member from that. It also helps promote WP as the go-to place for social networking re. women's issues.

All that took about 7 minutes to do -- assuming yr internet is treating you well today. ( -:

I love social networking & the Web because it is EXPONENTIAL!!
