I live in Portland, Oregon, with my husband and two sons. I'm passionate about being a mama and am really close to my parents and siblings as well. Though I have a degree in graphic design, my main creative outlet is painting, which I don't make enough time for (lately). I also read whenever I get the chance, and love to sing, go on hikes in the forest, and play football and basketball with my boys.
I am so happy to have stumbled upon World Pulse and to be part of this community! Whenever I log on, I get filled up by the kindness and respect people here show each other--for their willingness to be present to others' pain. Life can be hard and we need to be here for each other. Thank you, everyone, for your part in creating this safe haven for us all to express ourselves and find some comfort on our journey.
We're inextricably connected with each other (and every other species on the planet). The power and beauty of World Pulse is in making this fact feel tangible, and commonplace. It's waking up in the morning to a message from a friend in the Congo, Venezuela, or across the U.S. I'm so inspired by how much courage and compassion we share, and I thank you all for sharing your stories and insights with us. Peace!
We love and accept ourselves and others, non-judgmentally
