Freedom is her birth right
Freedom of choice, let her choose what she wants to become, give her the independence to read, speak, write and decide.
Don’t try to cut her wings when she chooses to fly with her intentions determined
She is ready to revamp her life. It’s just that you have caged her in your prejudice.
Unclog the biases, sedimented in your mind, passed on to you from your ancestral era, cause she will certainly emanate like an early morning sun from the darkest of the skies.
She is tired of walking on the modalities that you have designed, cause she is no more timid and has straightened her spines.
She won’t beg for freedom cause she is entitled to it since her birth and it’s her RIGHT!
She won't beg for freedom because she is entitled to it since her birth. So inspiring!Thank you dear sushmita.
Right Sabine She will not beg for freedom.
Thank you so much for reading it so beautifully
Women’s rights are human rights! Yes! Thanks for the strong voice on this, Sushmita, very powerful.
Thank you so much Isata for your encouraging words
Indeed she does not beg for freedom, she rises to it. She builds it. She breaks the shackles of insecurities, lies, false beliefs, cultural expectations and fear of people to step into it.
And she needs our support, because some of her does not know that she can be free.
Thank you for sharing your engaging poem.
Thank you so much Nini. And you are very right she will never beg for it. And if there is any such girl or woman, then she needs to be helped and supported by community like ours
Thanks for the deep words . it's her right to leave freely without limitation
Yes absolutely it's her right.
Thank you for your kind read
Hi Sushmita,
A powerful poem! A powerful stand and call for justice. I love your turns of phrase, " you have caged her in your prejudice....Unclog the biases, sedimented in your mind". I love your photos, too, freedom in the park.
