My father died on February, 8, 2008. I was only 2 years old and my little sister was just born on February 7th, 2008. When I found out that it happened I started to cry and I thought that my father was just always at work far away. My mother always had a guy at the house and I thought that he was my father until one day, when my mom and him got into a fight and they broke up, and I told my mother that "Mom I miss my father I want him back." But then I found it out.
A couple years later I was in school and my school councilor said to me, " You know that there is a father daughter dance in 4 days charei"? I was like I don't have a father though. My father died a long time ago. So no I am not going to be their sorry.
So when the dance came up I asked my grandpa if he would like to come to the dance with me. He said Yes of course I will.
That made my life so so much easier. So therefore my grandpa is like my father figure because I don't have one.
My grandpa is a very amazing person and he makes my life so so much easier and amazing.
Hello Charei
I feel you dear. My father died when I'm 21 years old but we never had dance together :-( . They separated when I'm 4 years old and I'm not close with my father maybe because his not with us anymore in the same roof. It is also my dream to dance with my father but it's always just a dream forever.
Thank you dear for sharing your story. Hope you doing fine :-)
Best Regards

Hello, Charie,
Welcome to World Pulse! It's a joy that another voice from the US is rising up.
I'm so sorry you lost your father at a very young age. I can feel the longing you have for him. Life is sometimes unfair, isn't? I commend you because you chose to see the brighter side and that is you recognized that your grandfather took that father's role. I'm glad he is in your life. On my case, I lost both my grandfathers at a very young age so I didn't have that bonding with them like you have with your grandpa. Hugs, dear.
Please continue to write your stories. I look forward to getting to know more of you. Welcome again to our growing sisterhood!
I do have a lot of upset days in my life because of it but I think about how good I am doing and how far in life that I am succeeded. Life can be unfair. I am also glad that he is in my life also. I am sorry about your grandfathers passing away. Women need to be stronger and this is where I am going to grow stronger in life. Hugs back to you Karen. I am glad to be a part of the sisterhood!!!
I understand, dear. How tough it must be for you. You are such a strong woman to overcome those down times. Thanks for your empathy, dear. I appreciate you. We are happy you are here! Please keep on writing! Have a great weekend. :)
