My Recovery

When I was 10 years old I was self-harming all over my self. My mother sent me to Van Vleck House, and I was there for about 7 months then I got out. A couple years later when I was 13 I got sent to St.Childrens Home in Torrington WY. I was being a butt head and was being raped by multiple people and it was not okay. Then I was in there for about a year and then got out again. When I was 14 I got sent back to Van Vleck because of rape, self-harm,Suicidal, and fighting with my mother. So I went and I am still in there. I have been in here for about 9 months by the 24th. I have been bullied and treated so wrong and still am. But today I am going home and I feel like I am going to mess it all up, all of the great things that I have accomplished and everything. I just hope that I don't mess it up.

I am GRADUATING from Van Vleck on January 17th of 2020!!!!!!!!!! I am so so happy. I just hope that I can be great on the outside of the home and in school like I am here in Jackson Hole Wyoming. I hope that we can all still keep in touch because  all of you guys have helped me through a lot and everything. So please comment and everything. I really hope that I can make friends and keep those friend within you all.

Hello, dear Charei,

It breaks my heart to read what you’ve gone through. I have so many questions to ask.

What triggered you to self-harm at 10? Was it the loss of your dad?

Multiple rapes!?! Oh, dear. I want to hug you right now. How strong you are to survive such violence. How brave you are for opening this to us.

Congratulations on your graduation. What is Van Vleck House? What kind of activities do you do there? Do they know about the rape?

We are here ready to read and listen to your stories, dear. Please continue unburdening yourself here. We love you.

We believe you can have a brighter future, far better than your past.

Thank you for being brave to share your story with us.

My father died when I was 3 years old and yes it was and other things.
Yes multiple rapes. It all started when I was 8 years of age. I am not very strong for opening up, nor strong about it.
Thank you for graduation!! Van Vleck House is a group home when people want to have help with family members, or struggling with anything. We always do hiking, biking, swimming, watch movies, we do really anything and it is kinda fun. Yes they know about the rape I had to tell them because I was very very upset all the time and everything.
I will keep sharing and everything, Love ya'll too.
I believe that I can have a brighter future and yeah better than my past.
You are welcome and thank you for your comment and everything that you have said in my stories and everything.

Hello Dear Charei,

Oh, dear:-( This is horrible. I'm sorry this happened to you, dear. Did your mom know about these rapes? I'm glad that it sounds like the Van Vleck house has been helping you. One rape is difficult, at best, to overcome, but several. You're a very strong person to be overcoming that and to be as positive as you are. Kudos to you, dear.

You're being bullied at the house or outside of the house? You won't mess it up, dear. Please be kind and gentle with yourself and know that you are doing your best. I have faith in you. I know you can do it. How do you feel that you will mess it up?

I'm glad that World Pulse has helped you, dear. We will always be here for you!

My dear Charei,
A warm welcome in the World Pulse Family. I am very sorry for all the sad happenings in your life at an early age but I must say and praise your courage and effort for overcoming it. I too join you in your optimism for your better life further and I am sure it will happen.
Congratulations on your graduation, I hope you are excited and have lots of plan for that day.
We would like to hear you more about your next steps and future plans after your graduations.
Please keep writing and posting, it will not only help you to be lighter but also will help to inspire those thousands of young girls, who are silently surviving the violence and abuse at home. It will help or motivate to speak out and get help to overcome it. Together we can work against the exploitations so that the world becomes a safer place for girls/women. Not a single girl to be survived from rape, bullies or any types of the violence. Please do let me know if we can talk more or need help, I will try my level best to support you as far as i can and my ability.
Sending you a lots of love, support and strengths my little sister,
Anjana
