When a women tells her story she leaves a legacy. When a women writes her story she leaves footprints on the planet for others girls to follow!
Support this little girl in telling her story in her own voice! I have been writing my story in little papers, in journals and in my dreams like many of you. On World Pulse I was able to give my little girl voice and share it with hundreds all over the world. If these bodies could talk they would write a book generations in the making. Now I am taking my story, our story, her-story and writing it for the world to read.
Over the past year I have been writing and healing. My journey of self love has been an extraordinary one. i have heard your story, I have read it online and in other peoples books. I have felt your story in my bones, I have seen my own story in yours. Now, i am creating a self-healing book for me and you. Cause its time to tell my own story. So many people have written our lives in their own books, created documentaries of our story, created TV shows of our lives...Today I speak for myself!
Every Little girl has a dream. Every little girl is born fully self expressed. She dares to dream to play, to laugh, to love. Every little girl is born powerful, courageous, beautiful and worthy, there is nothing in this world she cannot do... And then something happens. All over the WORLD little girls have a story to tell and they have a right to tell it in their own voices. Support this little girl in writing her-story in her own voice. Give her an opportunity to write it so no one else writes it for her!
The reality is that one in every three women on the planet will be physically or sexually abused in her lifetime which will most likely occur when she is a little girl in which she will experience or witness, child abuse, child sexual abuse, sexual assault or incest.
Everyday 1500 women die while giving birth to a new life from dis-ease, violence, poverty and malnutirition.
When a women is born she is born with the next generation of women inside of her ovaries.
Just like resiliency, when a little girl is born she carries a legacy of violence and trauma in her mind, body and spirit.
EVERY LITTLE GIRL HAS A STORY TO TELL! One story that is her own and the other runs through her veins having been passed down through generations.It is her mothers story and her grandmothers too.
I am committed to another world and that is going to require all of us taking our journal entries and writing a book that will go on someone else's shelf, in your home, in a school, in your organization, in our community and in the homes of young women all over the world. It takes a community to raise children. It takes powerful womyn and very special men to raise little girls.
Join me and write your own book. My book "In BOLD Rebirth". is my memoir and it will transform the lives of millions of womyn, communities and organizations globally. I declare that In BOLD Rebirth, will be a groundbreaking book that will use multiple writing style's to take you through a journey of a Latina Dominican lesbian story of self love and healing with the seasons and the liberation she finds in each transition. Drawing from over a decade of healing from trauma, Dayanara Marte, creates a manifesto of possibility towards a BOLD Rebirth of her identity. She will reveal how her commitment to transformation eradicates a life long cycle of inter generational violence in her life. At the age of 15, 1991, Dayanara gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. In 2007 she had no choice but to embarked on a journey of finding her own mother for as she raised her daughter she realized that her own relationship with her two mother's and the incompletion, resentments, fear and anger she carried shaped how she showed up as a mother, partner, daughter and friend. In the process of discovering her own her-story she finally learns what it really means to be a healer and be healed. In this journey of seasons changing Dayanara share's the deepest personal stories of her life. Her candid vulnerability shows the courage it takes to love anyway!
Spring MESSAGE to all the Little Girls on WORLD PULSE! As Mother earth transitions seasons, so do you find yourself gong through your own transitions. The difference is that the earth doesn't transition seasons because the other season didn't work. Winter doesn't come back different this year because last winter didn't work. Seasons change because they do, it part of the life cycle, they don't change because something was wrong with the last one or because something needs to be done differently. If you find yourself in transitions right now, you are exactly where you need to be in the transitions of the season no matter where you are in the world. Don't make the transition wrong, there is nothing that you need change about you, your life or anyone else in your life or the world. Instead welcome yourself in the transition between spring and summer, its the one thing you can count on each year. You are whole, perfect and complete, what is there for you to do is find the opportunity available to you with in the transition, have compassion on the journey and acknowledge yourself all the way into summer. You are beautiful, powerful, courageous and BOLD!
