Nominating Susu Mohamed for a World Pulse Spirit Award

Susu has been with us here in World Pulse since 2013. By that time she had been working in humanitarian organizations and the UN for 15 years.  She unapologetically focusses on  assisting woman and girls and is a cofounder SWECA org http://sweca.org/. She regularly tunes in to stories coming in to World Pulse, sending so many messages of love and support.

Recently she reported on the success of her radio broadcasts reaching 1.5 million women and girls, a brilliant plan to overcome distance and the isolation of women in homes. She is an outspoken peace activist, while also stating loudly and clearly that ending violence against women and girls is her life’s work.

With deep respect for all she is doing I am nominating this courageous and dedicated sister for a World Pulse Spirit Award.
