MY MENSTRATION TRUMMER

My names are Tata Sharlotte Ambit. I am from Cameroon precisely in the North West region (Bamenda) I went to share with you all my story. I am the last in a family of 9, my mother gave birth to me through an operation because of some complications

When my mom was pregnant for me, she wanted a baby boy, she always prayed for a baby boy simply because she wanted to name the baby after her father who just died. While in the delivery room, she still prayed for a baby boy. When she gave birth to me, the nurse told her it’s a baby girl. She was not really happy but thanked God for a save delivery.

While I was growing up, in secondary school our biology teacher taught about the menstrual cycle. She said as a girl at the age of 14, you must see your menses. That day I was so worried, I got home and could not eat nor drink anything, and it made it difficult for me to interact with friends, I mean very difficult. After all I went through, God finally led me to see my menses at the age of 22…I want to encourage all my sisters and mummies that with God everything is possible, and no condition is permanent.

To conclude, I want to thank God for leading and guiding me through. If not I would have killed myself because the journey was not easy. I pray to God to bless me abundantly with the fruits of the womb (many children) and to other people facing similar situations, I pray God should hear their cry and grant their heart desires…thanks
