My Journey

I am Tathy Mwadi Ntumba, I was born in the Republic Democratic of Congo, moved to South Africa since 2005. I am a mother of four children, a wife and I am self employed.I live in a supportive community where we facing crime challenges.

From my perspective many fathers and mothers are absents or not fulfilling their responsibilities in the lives of their children for many different reasons and in few cases where fathers and mothers are present, unfortunately they teach children how to be a broken person by having unhealthy relationships, it is a fact children learn by what you as a parent do not by what you are telling. This image I painted results in having young people looming streets and getting involve in crime activities.

As part of this, I am planning to create a platform where women learn to heal themselves and also learn to play the role of a mother because mother's love is the first footprint in a child's heart. As women we need to learn to embrace inner peace so that our children emulate and make a peaceful generation.

This issue is a global challenge that needs to be address particularly.
