PEACE IN D.R. Congo

I am THERESE Kasindi and I live in Congo, specifically in the eastern city of Bukavu. I am a member of Mama Shujaa and a mom who hopes one day to see the Congo in peace and security, a new Congo without Violence against women, girls or children.
MAMA Shujaa(or Hero Women of Congo) is a media center that includes Congolese women of all classes. Our overall goal is to involve grassroots women in the advocacy process.
We advocate on the local national and international levels. To convey our messages, we use the World Pulse website and internet connection.
Today we invite all women of the world to unite with us women and girls in eastern D.R. Congo together we can find peace.
We believe that once the war was over, cases of human rights violations regress significantly.
You will follow later in the messages presented by Congolese women, but it happens in different languages of our country.
Peace to all!
