what is the real blessing?

Receiving gifts is the best moment in everyone’s life. Never mind the gift is cheap or expensive, still the real happiness lies in the minds of people who give the gift to us.

I got a small gift from one of my friend today. As I received the gift, she blessed me with her two hands touching my head and wished me 100 years of life. When I asked her about the way she wished me, she told that it is a traditional way of Indian blessing.

Never mind about the materialistic gift that I received, but the verbal blessing that I received is really a touching thing. I am not sure will I live for 100 years; still the words used in her blessing are so powerful.

Most of us never take time to verbally appreciate or bless others in day to day live. We are all running out of time and money. At times we feel like why I should appreciate/bless another person? Yes, when we bless others I feel that there is a vibration of positive energy for the person who receives it gives it.

We can’t remember all the people those who we meet in our day to day life accurately, but we can remember the verbal blessings/appreciation that we received from them.

Everyone knows that life is always short and we are all in separate journey. Do we spend at least 10 minutes in a day to bless or appreciate others? In my life I have realized that whenever I am blessed, I feel a kind of recognition, confidence, happy and positive sense and I would like to pass the same to others.

Even simple greetings/wishes like “good morning”, “hope you are doing well”, “happy to see you”, “your work is much appreciated” will boost up other person and will give a positive hope in his life and to move forward in life.

My dear sisters, let’s all try it out, appreciating/blessing others for small things and will definitely see a positive difference in the coming time with our family and friends.

We can even change the whole world by recognizing and appreciating each other which can turn the world to a peaceful zone.

Hi Tiffany,

Thanks for sharing your important, and uplifting message and reminder. I agree that the world needs more positivity, in general, and it does definitely make someone's day brighter when something nice is exchanged, whether it's a prayer, blessing, gift, or simple greeting, like you said. It all matters:-)

Hope you're doing well, dear, and having a great Friday:-) Hope you have a great weekend, too!

Hello, Tiffany,

What a beautiful reminder of being intentional with our connection with other people. Thank you so much for this lovely message.

This resonates with me: “We can’t remember all the people those who we meet in our day to day life accurately, but we can remember the verbal blessings/appreciation that we received from them.”

I hope I can remember this often. Yes, let us be the one to speak blessings to the people we interact with. Thanks again!

"The verbal blessings/appreciation that we received" is the most wonderful and everlasting gift that we have in our life.
Have a great week ahead.
