The program will launch in Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. Selected businesses will be eligible for grant funding, financial planning, mentorships and peer-to-peer collaboration. I am in Uganda and recently there is a project that interested me. Making pads for rural school girls from cheap and readily available raw materials like banana fibre and cloth. Many girls in my rural home drop out of school because of lack of sanitary towels. By providing them with an altarnative would go a long way in keeping them at school. How about that?
