2015 CALL FOR NOMINATIONS WWSF Prize for women’s creativity in rural life 21th Anniversary Deadline30 April 2015 Dear Friends and Partners, The Women’s World Summit Foundation - WWSF - cordially invites you to submit nominations for its 20th annual Prize for women’s creativity in rural life, honoring and awarding creative and courageous women and women’s groups around the world working to improve the quality of life in rural communities. Since inception of the Prize program in 1994, 403 Laureates have so far been honored for their commitment and creativity with a cash award of US$ 1000 each. All prizewinners and brief description of their work are published on our website Given your experience, interest and perspective with regard to issues of human rights, economic development, environment, climate change, peace building, ending violence and empowerment of women and children, we would greatly appreciate your participation and thank you in advance for sending us your candidates. About 10 prizewinners will again be selected in 2015 and announced to the media on15 October– International Day of Rural Women. Your presentation of candidates, following the nomination criteria, must reach our office no later than 30 April 2014. Nominations, which are incomplete, will not be considered by the Prize Jury. Nous remercions très sincèrement la Fondation Sommet Mondial des Femmes pour l'organisation de ce concours. Dans nos pays, les femmes en milieux ruraux réalisent plusieurs initiatives qui demeurent méconnues faute des moyens pour se faire connaître.  Nous espérons que ceci constitue une opportunité à saisir.
