Personal Photography Challenge, June 2013

One of the reasons for this group is for all of us to develop our skills in photography. By challenging ourselves with a particular theme or topic each month we can try to work within some boundaries that will test our creativity.

Also, by taking pictures and uploading them to the group we can all give our feedback to eac other. By doing this, those who have a bit more knowledge can share with the others.

I see that we have a lot of members already so I'd like to suggest that we all go out and challenge ourselves this month in two ways. 1. Take a portrait picture of someone you admire; someone who has helped you in your life. 2. Upload the image with a journal entry on the person to this group so that the rest of us can learn about the person.

By uploading the picture and putting into words why you admire this person we can critique each other's images and hopefully grow some.

Looking forward to some amazing pictures and stories from you all for this month!!!

Regards, TJ

Hi, TJ, would you accept photos I took a few months back? :)

SURE! The personal challenge is just to get others involved if they don't have a starting point but any work you want to share is most welcome! :D

The other day you sent a message where you explained the types of photoraphs you wanted to upload, I logged into the group wrote a message and tried to upload some photos and my phone froze completely and had to reboot. I assumed it had a similar problem like your PC whereby you wanted to upload pictures and couldn't.

I will try again, later. Thanks.

I'm not sure why that is happening but I normally post my text first to ensure I don't have to redo the typing THEN I'll edit the post and add pictures :)

Plus - if the pictures are large they take longer to upload.

:)

I understand how you do it, but they weren't large pictures. But will try again.
