About the Smart, Fabulous & Single Conference Kingston Jamaica

I had been in an abusive relationship and hadn’t realized how much it had negatively impacted my life until I saw how much I had changed. I was no longer the vibrant, fun loving friend, daughter, and leader I knew myself to be. I was staring at this new ugly me in the face and the Lord showed me that what’s inside me is greater than my circumstances, weaknesses and fears. He charged me to get up out of my mess. So I got up and was deliberate about my healing process. I wrote my book and started a blog community; all because I wanted to share what I had learnt with other women. Then one day I decided to register my business where I would offer coaching, consultation, and events which converged around empowering others. My target to begin with would be women, though men would not be excluded.

I started with Smart, Fabulous & Single (SFS) because I’m single and the women around me that are single had indicated a concern that there was no activity that truly targeted them. Moreover like me, they had had their challenges in relation to life decisions, dating, work, business, family and more.

SFS was designed to empower and inspire single women but I wanted to celebrate and fete them as well. So we not only did the empowerment talks but brought on board Jamaican vendors who were willing to give huge giveaways and discounts as part of the treat to our audience. Because dating is another concern we have as single women, we integrated it as an issue discussed throughout the talks and later invited men in for a panel discussion.

Smart, Fabulous & Single is the first of many activities and experiences we will create for women. To view our promotional e-zine click HERE. An updated version will be shared with pics from the actual event soon.

SFS sounds like an amazing initiative for women everywhere! It's horrible to hear how you suffered in an abusive relationship, but I commend you for being such a strong individual and for coming so far on your journey. You are a true role model and inspiration.

Hi Helen,

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. What you have described is exactly what I hope to achieve. A movement for single and married women worldwide that will celebrate, empower, inspire and educate women. I hope that there are persons in world pulse who will join in this movement with me.

Thanks again for your comment. I am very encouraged.

Every Blessing,

Tricia-Anne
