Male involvement in Family planning
We need men to understand the importance of family planning.

Humans Alike Initiative is a community Based Organization in Wakiso district in Uganda. We have volunteer programs for people who love working with young girls and women. We have provided sexual and reproductive health services to 1500 girls and women. However our target is 10,000.
Our activities include;
1. Training adolescent girls and young women in family planning methods and use.
2. Family planning counseling
3. Health education
4. Home visits to child mothers
5. Games and sports
6. Tour of Kampala city.

Get Involved

Each volunteer is required to pay 250 dollars per week which caters for the following;
1. Airport pickup
2. Lodging
3. 3 meals per day
4. Transportation to the volunteering site
5. Mentorship
6. Tour of Kampala and farewell goat roasting
5. Transport back to the airport

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!

4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!

6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
